It’s finally happening! The Goffstown Village Water Precinct is going to start the water main replacement project in your area. This is a two year project. This year we will be replacing the two ends of Shirley Park Road from Shirley Avenue to the main on So Mast Street and the full length of Shirley Avenue. This portion totals about 2000 ft. of main, two new hydrants and each individual curb stop (street shut off for your service).

The work will mostly be done in the right-of-way off the pavement. If we need to remove a shrub, tree or fence we will contact you directly.

The project will take 15-20 working days. The water will remain on, barring any unplanned events, until we connect the individual service lines and the new main to the older Shirley Park Road main. Notices will be hand delivered at that time.

Lawn repair and paving patches will be done at the end of the project.

We expect the work to begin on July 9 and we have hired Brown Excavating.
